Obituary for Agnes Darlak

Agnes Zielinski Darlak, known to all her family and friends as Viola, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2024 in Bonita Springs, Florida. Viola was born on May 25, 1925 to Roman and Anna Zielinski in Olyphant, PA. Viola lived her life in Olyphant as a beloved wife, mother, grand and great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Viola was devoted to her family and very proud of her daughters and grandchildren. Family was her heart. She was an active member of Saint Michael the Archangel’s Church and school. A member of the ILGWofA, she worked outside the home as an experienced seamstress of women’s and children’s clothing. An excellent cook and baker, Viola showed her love for family and friends with delicious meals and baked goods.

Viola enjoyed being involved in her grandchildren’s lives and relished their success. As the great grandchildren entered the family she thrilled to be a part of their young lives as well. She shared her love and joy and wisdom eagerly.

Viola was predeceased by her loving husband of 56 years, George Joseph Darlak, in 2006. She is survived by her daughters- Ann Marie DiPietro (Joseph), Judith Vorozilchak (David 1951-2015), and Christine Michaels.
Her Grandchildren- Joseph DiPietro, Jessica Rodrigues-Feo (Armando), Kristin Kowalek (Eric),
David Vorozilchak (Laura), Abigail Michaels, Melissa Vorozilchak Agosin, Michael Vorozilchak (Meredith).
And Great Grandchildren- Anthony and Leonardo DiPietro; Armando and Andres Rodrigues-Feo; Jackson, Savannah, Travis and Griffin Kowalek; William and Henry Vorozilchak; Gabby, Tommy, Lexi Agosin;
Parker, Ashton and Madison Vorozilchak. Her niece/sister Anna Masko. And many nieces and nephews.

Viola’s memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

A funeral service is planned for: Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 09:30 AM at
Holy Cross Parish at the Church of St Patrick
200 Delaware Ave, Olyphant, PA
A graveside prayer service will be at St Michael the Archangel Cemetery after the Mass.
