Obituary for Anne M. Ulrich-Donahue

Anne Marie (MacNeil) Ulrich-Donahue, 73 of Naples, FL died September 5th in Naples, FL. She was the wife of John E. Donahue Jr.

Born in Glace Bay/Nova Scotia, Canada on October 6, 1946, the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine (MacMurray) MacNeil. Mrs. Ulrich-Donahue was raised in Jamaica Plain and had lived in Stoughton, MA from 1975 until moving to Naples, FL in 1999.

Anne worked for Hilton Hotels and for Swissotel in Boston for many years.

Anne was more commonly known by her family and friends as Mae or Mae-Mae. Mae enjoyed traveling including spending the past 20 summers with her husband Jack in their summer home on Peaks Island, Maine. She loved the beach, going out to eat, and above all being with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Scott Ulrich and his wife Jamie of Jupiter, FL; David Ulrich and his wife Jenette of Waltham, MA; Gregory Ulrich of Middleboro, MA; and is predeceased by her son Ryan Ulrich of Naples, FL. Anne is also survived by her step children, Jacqueline Donahue of Walpole , MA; and Brian Donahue of Seabrook, NH.

Anne is also survived by her siblings, Daniel MacNeil and his wife Debbie of Canada, Dolores Sheppard and her husband Gerald of Plainville, MA.

Mae-Mae is survived by her grandchildren, Caroline Ulrich, Christopher Ulrich, Luke Ulrich, Nolan Ulrich, Nadia Ulrich, Nathan Ulrich, Victoria Ulrich, Peter James Ulrich, Catherine Ulrich, and Lili Ulrich.

A Memorial Mass in Florida will be held on Monday, September 28th at 1pm at St. Agnes Catholic Church located at 7775 Vanderbilt Beach Road, Naples FL.

Funeral Mass will be at Holy Name Church located at 1689 Centre Street in West Roxbury, MA on Wednesday, October 14th at 10am. Private burial will follow at Mount Benedict Cemetery in West Roxbury, MA.
