Obituary for Audrey Joyce Corson

In loving memory of Audrey Joyce Corson, 86, who died peacefully Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at
Manorcare @ Lely Palms in Naples, Florida. Audrey was born on July 4, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY
to Edna and Einar Olsen. She resided in South River, NJ before moving to Marco Island, FL 8
years ago.

Prior to retiring at age 62, Audrey worked for several different companies including New Jersey
Steel as a purchasing agent and was employed as an administrative assistant in the Wildlife &
Forestry Department at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ for over 10 years.

When living in New Jersey Audrey was a member of the Conklin United Methodist Church. She
enjoyed going to her retreat in the Poconos with her husband and family. Audrey loved to
dance, go to Atlantic City, do lottery scratch-offs and word find puzzles, and play bingo at the
nursing home. She referred to herself as a firecracker being born on the 4th of July. She
believed that every time she saw the number 444, angels were watching over her.

Audrey was a sweet and caring woman who will truly be missed by her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, William in 1994, her brother, Edwin and her
sister, Mildred. Surviving are her daughter, Joyce L. Morresi & husband, Marco from Marco
Island, FL, her son, Mark Corson & wife, Carol from Hillsborough, NJ, her sister Dianne Drumm,
her brother Fred Selland, 2 grandchildren, Katelyn & Matthew, and several nieces & nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held with family and friends in the future.
