Obituary for Cynthia Nan Cullather

Cynthia "Cindy" Nan Cullather (née Perdue) passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on January 26, 2024, in Bonita Springs, Florida, at the age of 75. She was born on August 13, 1948, in Beaumont, Texas.

Cindy attended Lamar University at Beaumont and the University of Texas at Austin, as well as the LSU Graduate School of Banking. She had a distinguished career, rising to the level of Senior Vice-President at First City Bank Group of Texas. In later years she was a management consultant at EDS Corporation and RCG Corporation, sharing her expertise with a wide range of banks, municipalities, and major corporations.

She was active in community and volunteer work, serving on a local VFD board and committees for Texas A&M Galveston, UTMB Galveston, Houston Rodeo, and local civic associations.

In her leisure time, Cindy enjoyed traveling, cooking, boating, fishing, and Mardi Gras. She cherished these hobbies and shared them with her loved ones. Her favorite activity was that of being "Grammy" to granddaughter Lily, supporting her during her years of dance competitions, and treasuring the many trips taken with her.

Cindy is survived by her husband of 52 years, Tim, her daughter Kelli, son-in-law George Zeller, and granddaughter Lily Zeller. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Reba Perdue, and her brother Robert.

Funeral arrangements were handled by the Legacy Options of Bonita Springs funeral home.

Cindy will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

May she rest in peace.
