Obituary for Dana Lynne Kelley
Dana Lynne Kelley, 62, of Fort Myers FL, passed away on April 12, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her loving family and close friends.
Dana was born in Nashville, Tennessee to Charles Glenn Mingledorff and Laura Lee Mingledorff on May 5th 1960. She went to high school at Utica Catholic Academy in Utica, NY and graduated in 1978. She went on to earn a degree in Business Management from Herkimer County Community College in Herkimer, NY. She worked as a production planner for multiple manufacturing organizations, including General Electric. Dana was a devoted wife and mother, who enjoyed the simple pleasures of a beach sunset, wildflowers, her dogs, cleaning her beautiful home, the color yellow, and playing with her grandchildren.
Dana is survived by her husband, Chris Kelley of Fort Myers, FL. She is also survived by her daughters, Megan and Lindsey Kahler, and their sons Ryan, Michael, Eddie, Stephen and Patrick. She is survived by her sister Glenna Lee Mingledorff and her husband Michael Coker, daughters Austyn and Blake Grooms, and her sister Laura Lisa Mingledorff Combs, daughter Rachel Combs and husband Michael Hamilton, her step-daughters Candy Kelley and son Troy, Cheri Tubia and daughter Zoe & son Anthony, Kathy Sprague and her husband Jim, their children Kylie, Alyssa, Chris and Julie, Erin Kelley and her son Charlie, Maggie Moss and her children Jacob, Kegan and Riley.
She is preceded in death by her parents Charles Glenn Mingledorff and Laura Lee Mingledorff, her grandparents James Bill Frame & Bessie Lee Frame and Nell Mingledorff Ross & Charles Mingledorff.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on her birthday, May 5th 2023 at Bonita Beach at sunset. Prior to sunset, calling hours will be held at the home of Chris and Dana at 18056 Cypress Point Rd, Fort Myers FL 33967. Refreshments will be provided.
