Donald (Don) McIntyre, 71, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on August 11, 2022, at his home. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of Clifford C. and Elaine E. (O’Brien) McIntyre. Don was raised in Bedford, Massachusetts, and was a longtime resident of, and small business owner in, New Hampshire before relocating to Florida in 2007. He was most recently employed in the pro-shop at Raptor Bay Golf Club in Estero, FL, where he enjoyed working with his friends each day and meeting various Red Sox players during spring training. Don is survived, and will be deeply missed, by his daughter, Kerry Magee, and her husband, Mike, of Chelmsford, MA; his sister, Sandra McIntyre Cramer, and her daughter, Deanna Coughlan-Harris, of Lowell, MA; his best friend of 58 years, Oscar S. DePriest, IV, of Bedford, MA, as well as many other beloved friends and family in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Florida. A gathering of friends and family to celebrate Don’s life will be held at a future date in Massachusetts.
