Eileen Marie Pierre, 79, formerly of Inverness, IL and resident of Naples, FL, passed away on June 23, 2022 in Naples, FL. eight days short of her 80th birthday.

Eileen was born in Huntington, IN to A. Wayne Shepherdson and Betty M. Orcutt on July 1, 1942. She went to high school at Mattoon High School and graduated in 1961. She was employed as a bookkeeper at Associated Spring Company where she met her husband. Eileen lived in several Midwest states before settling in Florida. She enjoyed playing the piano, making greeting cards, reading, completing puzzles, and was a published author of several children’s books.

Eileen is survived by her daughter, Michele (Stephen) Irmick, of Naperville, IL, son Daniel F. (Mari) Pierre, III, of Kailua, HI, daughter-in-law, Eileen T. Pierre of Huntley, IL and four grandchildren: Ryan Irmick, Marisa (Scott Eriksen) Pierre, Kellie Irmick, Sarina Pierre. She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel F. Pierre Jr., and son, John Paul Pierre. She will be greatly missed by these and many other family members and friends.
