Naples, Fl resident Frederick (Fred) Stanley Goodwin, age 72, died April 26th, 2021, at Physicians Regional Hospital, Naples, FL. Fred graduated from Kenwood High School, Essex, MD, in 1967. Fred worked in the Information Technology field for most of his career. He last worked for Allen Systems Group and Southwest Florida Workforce.

Fred was an avid baseball fan and was a former President of the Oriole Advocates and life member. In addition, he was a member of the Kiwanis Club and Association of Data Processors. He was also an active basketball coach, baseball coach, and official, in the Essex, Middle River, and Timonium, areas of Maryland.

Fred is survived by his former wife Barbara June Goodwin-Guy of Swan Point, MD/Naples, FL, 2 children Kendra Faye Royston, Naples, FL, and Steven Frederick Goodwin, Timonium, MD, 2 grandchildren Jessica Lea Smith (Justin), Waxahachie, TX and Hope Alexandra Koch, Naples, FL, 3 great grandchildren Patrick Ryan Cahill, Naples, Jocelyn Rose Smith and Jolene Lily Smith, Waxahachie, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Fred is preceded in death by his parents Stanley Alton Goodwin and Sara Elizabeth Goodwin, nee Howard, and brothers Carlton Roy Goodwin and Paul Howard Goodwin (Mary).

Services will be held at a later date in Maryland.
