Obituary for Gary Harvey
Gary left us on Friday, January 6th at 4:05 AM with his wife Shirley and his dog Rex by his side.
Gary Lee Harvey was born in Dayton, Ohio on June 11, 1942 to his parents Curtis Harvey and Ruth Gray Harvey.
Gary was a very prominent structural engineer for several years in Fort Myers owning Harvey Engineering which he started in 1996.
He graduated from the University of Florida in 1966. He had a masters degree in engineering. His favorite team was the Florida Gators. He seldom missed a game
He leaves his wife Shirley Harvey and daughter Lee Anne Dillon along with her husband Duane and two grandsons, John and Tyler. He also leaves his other daughter Jenny Buccieri along with her husband Jim and two daughters Taylor and Kyla Cummings.
Gary will sadly be missed by all his family and many colleagues that he has worked with over the years.
A Memorial Service will be held for Gary at Legacy Options Fort Myers Chapel on Saturday January 21, 2023 from 11AM-12PM.
