Obituary for Irene J Rensi
Irene Joan Rensi passed away peacefully at home in Naples, Florida on August 30, 2022. She was born in Steubenville, Ohio to Theodore and Helena Rudnick on November 11, 1924.
After graduating from Catholic Central High School she became a registered nurse graduating from Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio. She went on to work for many years at Ohio Valley Hospital in Steubenville, Ohio as a surgical nurse. Irene was a devout Roman Catholic and was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband Harry William Rensi and survived by her children Joan Staiger (John), Elaine Anderson, Risë Pyscher (Paul) sisters Jane Lang, Paula Miotlowski (deceased), Elaine Koon (deceased) Ruth Delatore, Shari Evans, brothers Martin Kocal, David Kocal, and four grandchildren Risë Anderson, Amanda Anderson, Hailey Pyscher and Garrett Pyscher.
She enjoyed baking bread, playing golf, and was an avid bridge player.
A Funeral Mass and celebration of life will be held in Steubenville, Ohio at a future date.
