Jacob “Jake” Lewis Barker, age 23 of Fort Myers, Florida passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.

Jake was born December 29, 1998, in Naples, Florida to John and Frances “Fran” Barker. He is a 2017 Graduate of Cypress Lake High School and was attending Florida Southwestern State College. Jake had a strong passion for all sports and particularly excelled in basketball. He loved spending cherished time with his family and friends.

Jacob is survived by his loving parents, John & Fran Barker; sister, Kelsey Barker; grandfather, John Gast; uncles, Gary Haas, Robert Nicoll (Jan), Keith Nicoll (Marti); aunts, Lois Manos (Bill) and Nancy Petroff (Craig); as well as several cousins and loved ones.
Jacob was preceded in death by his grandparents, Martha Gast and Lewis & Lois Nicoll, and his aunt, Sherry Haas.

Friends and family are welcomed to join a Celebration of Life service for Jake on Saturday,
May 14th, 2022, at 1:00pm at the Riverside Church in Fort Myers.
