James T. Conroy, Jr., 69, of Estero, Florida passed away on July 31, 2022.

Born in Troy, NY, he was the son of Elizabeth Conroy and the late James T. Conroy, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Jinghua Yang Conroy of Estero, Florida; three daughter, Kelly Dussault (William) of New York, Briana Brady (Chris) of New York, and Brittany Conroy (Greg Fallick) of Pennsylvania; two grandsons of New York; one sister LeAnne Fonda (John) of Georgia.

Together, Jinghua and Jim, loved traveling, listening to music, and visiting with friends. Most recently they adventured out west to see Yellowstone and Arches National Parks.

As a child, he played many sports, which eventually turned into a passion of coaching and a lifelong love of watching and going to games. When he was younger he was made to learn to play the piano, which ironically started his love of music, playing the drums and eventually taking the family to many Drum Corps competitions.

He worked hard to better his and his family’s lives, putting himself through college at Siena in Loudonville, NY. He encouraged his children to pursue higher education when they were young by gifting a dictionary every year for Chrisitmas. He began working at GE, then left to start a photography studio. He later earned his Masters and changed careers to work as an auditor for NY State. He continued to maintain his entrepreneurial spirit in retirement by working as a handyman. He brought us a lot of love and happiness, which we will never forget. We remember everything he did for us. May God bless him all the way to heaven.
