Obituary for Jeffrey Ian Yeager

Jeffrey Ian Yeager was born on March 2, 1978 in Charleston, South Carolina to Stanley and Cynthia Yeager. He grew up in Charleston, South Carolina and, as he was growing up, split his time between South Carolina and southwest Florida before moving to Boston, Massachusetts for work.

But Charleston, SC was always home to him.

Jeff was a Network Operations Center Engineer for Interop Technologies and was also an ordained minister for the Universal Life Church.

He and his first wife, Victoria Schaber, were blessed to be the parents of biological daughter, Sheridan Yeager (22) and stepson, Brian Miceli (29).

He also leaves behind his wife, Stacey Annie Yeager, with whom he was the stepfather of Sonata Lampkin (14), Elijah Lampkin (12), and Kingsley Lampkin (10).

He is also survived by his two moms, Cynthia Yeager (Schier) and Kathy Corbitt, in Naples, Florida, as well as his father, Stanley Yeager and stepmother Julie Yeager of Charleston, SC. Jeff also leaves behind his maternal grandmother, Joyce Carothers, his brotherman, Lee Yeager, and his sister in law, Renee Yeager, in addition to several other beloved family members, friends, and church family at Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Greater Naples, Florida.

Jeff never met a computer he couldn't fix or a person he couldn't make smile.

He was a proud father and a loving son. He was also a devoted husband to his wife, Stacey. He always said that taking care of her was his greatest honor.

He will be remembered for his quick wit, his wisdom and intellect (he qualified for MENSA) and his loyal heart, but mostly for his epic sense of humor, adventurous Spirit, and his gift of storytelling.

Quite suddenly, Jeff passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at the young age of 44.

An informal Celebration Of Life service will be held at Unitarian Univer salist Congregation of Greater Naples, Florida on Saturday, February 18th at 4pm in Naples, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Greater Naples, his church home, which Jeff held dear to his heart.
