Obituary for José Fernando Gomez
After a long and fulfilled life, José Fernando Gómez has left this world on October 11, 2022, at the age of 88. He passed away surrounded by his loved ones after a long battle with Alzheimers.
Born to Roberto Gómez & Tulia Eva Gómez on September 30th 1934, in the small town of El Santuario In Colombia. He moved and lived most of his life out in Cali, Colombia where he was a prominent business man. He owned multiple hotels, restaurants and real estate. Don Fernando was a successful horse breeder and his happy place was with his family and horses at his farm.
His family will missed him greatly but find solace in knowing he is with God and resting in peace.
He is survived by his 11 brothers and sisters. His wife Martha Pineda de Gómez, with whom he was married for 53 years and was the love of his life. His daughter Mónica, Son Raúl and youngest daughter Lucy. His grandchildren Juliana, Roberto, Eduardo, Lorenzo, Antonio, Paolo and his great grandchild Alexander.
