Joseph, C. Geary of Naples, FL (formerly of Randolph, MA) passed away on 6/21 /22. "Joe" was 81 years old and was born in Dorchester, MA. He was honored to have served in the U.S.M.C. for 4 years and was stationed in Camp Lejeune, NC. Joe was a detective with the Boston Police Department and retired with honor after 35 years of service.

He leaves behind his wife, Peggy Brazil Geary and is survived by six children, Kathleen Purvis (Richard) of AZ, Christine Mackenzie of Weymouth, Maureen Best of Vineyard Haven, Joseph C. Geary Jr. (Laurene) of North Port, FL. Daniel Geary (Kristen) of Plymouth, James Geary (Terie) of Oak Bluffs.

He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren, Matt, Ethan, Lindsay, Matthew, Olivia, Hannah, Maggie, Joseph, Brianna, Samantha, Maeve, Nora, Cameron, Abby and 4 great children, Braxton, Bristol, James and Jack. He was predeceased by his parents Frederic and Violet Geary, his sister Martha Sonora and his brother Frederic "Ted" Geary.

A memorial service will be held this fall.
