Lillian C. Pisani of Stoneham, Massachusetts formerly of Somerville, Ma. Pre-deceased by her Husband Francis A. Pisani, son Francis P. Pisani and Grandson Francis W. Pisani.
Lillian leaves her son Jeffrey P. Pisani and his wife Patricia Pisani of Freedom, NH formerly of Stoneham, Ma.
Her Daughter Lisa A. Foley and her husband Stephen Foley of Falmouth, Ma.
Daughter in law Catherine Pisani of Sarasota, Florida.
Grandchildren Nicole Bernabei, Eric Pisani, Christopher Pisani, Laurene Foley, Stephen Foley and families. Her Great Grandson Brady Bernabei.
She was predeceased by her mother and father Pasquale and Santina (Anna) Celata, brothers Stephen Celata, Ross Celata, and her sister Florence Palmacci.
Lillian was an avid golfer who belonged to a women’s golf league in Massachusetts and in Florida. She golfed until she reached 90. She loved spending her winters in Florida where she had so many dear friends and enjoyed being on the golf course. Lillian will be missed by many friends and family. Born in Malden, Lillian was a stitcher and made parachutes during the war then went on to teach physical fitness. She loved sharing stories of her life during that time. A widow at 49 years Lillian went back to work after her husband passed at the City of Somerville and the Somerville Public Library where she retired from.
A memorial mass will be announced later.
