Paul Cusmano of Bloomfield Hills Michigan, died Monday October 12, 2020 in Naples, Florida at the age of 78. He was born in Detroit on October 29, 1941 to the late John and Ruth (Koelsch) Cusmano. Paul grew up in Detroit where he attended St. Ignatius grade school and was a graduate of De LaSalle High School (class of 1959). He earned his undergraduate degree and Master of Business Administration from the University of Detroit. Paul served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. Paul started his professional career at Touche Ross downtown as a CPA. He left to start his accounting practice in 1970, Cusmano and Company, that has recently celebrated its 50 year anniversary. In addition, he was a serial entrepreneur being involved in over 15 businesses as owner, active investor and leadership mentor. Paul was a man who loved his family, spending time golfing with his grandchildren, traveling with his sons, running with his daughter or watching a good movie. He was a loved man who made an impact on so many and will be missed.

He is survived by his three children John (Tiffany), Dan (Angela), Kristen (Chris) Balasia and his seven grandchildren Carter, Clay, Cole, Henry, William, Benjamin and Francesca, his sister and brother-in-law, Rosalie and Maurus Mallory.

Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday October 28, at AJ Desmond & Son, 2600 Crooks Rd, Troy, MI 48084 from 2-8PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 29 at 10 AM at St. Hugo of the Hills Catholic church, 2215 Opdyke Rd, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304, immediately followed by a luncheon at The Reserve 325 S Eton St, Birmingham, MI 48009, all are welcome.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Michigan Chapter in memory of Paul’s mother Ruth Cusmano.
