Obituary for Paul Joseph Epifanio

Paul Joseph Epifanio, son of Daniel and Elizabeth Epifanio, born in Stamford Connecticut May 12, 1951 passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with Huntington’s Disease.

What a life he lived!  He shared his love constantly with his family.  He was a talented artist who had a successful career as Director of Design at Tiffany and Company.  Anyone who knew or worked with Paul, loved him; his spirit attracted everyone. His many friends remember his caring nature, sense of humor and sense of adventure.  His caring guidance inspired numerous coworkers and his spirit attracted everyone.  He had a keen interest in people of every culture and traveled extensively.  His adventuresome spirit took him all over the world and you never knew where he’d go next:  Singapore, Malaysia, China, India, Nepal, Norway, Japan, Viet Nam, Thailand, Morocco, etc.

Even in illness, he was a brave soul and always had a positive attitude, never complaining and always trying his best to do whatever was possible for him.  There is surely a special place in heaven for him.

Paul is survived by his brother Richard Epifanio, sister-in-law Mary Epifanio, sister Elizabeth Erickson, brother-in-law James Erickson, nieces:  Jennifer Epifanio and Rosemary Johnston, a grandnephew: Sean Johnston, and grandnieces: Lauren Epifanio and Emma Johnston.
