Robert “Robbie” Jerry Brasher, 60, of Naples, FL passed away on Oct. 9, 2022. His battle with a serious medical issue in recent years showed his courage in facing life’s challenges with a smile and laughter. Despite the pain, Robbie came out a hero and stayed strong until the end. Robbie was an avid fisherman and loved to fish the waters around Cape Romano off the coast of Marco Island, FL with family and friends. He was named Angler of the Year by Navy Orlando Bass Masters in 1992. He loved college football and the Florida Gators. The last Gator football game he watched was with his sister the Saturday before his passing. He is predeceased in death by his paternal grandparents, Ernest Corbin and Una Eva Brasher (McNeil, AR), father, Jerry L. Brasher (Naples, FL), and brother, Rodger Jerry Brasher Sr. (Naples, FL). He is survived by his daughters, Samantha (Steve) Albert (Derby, CT), and Courtney Brasher (Wesley Chapel, FL), Mother Lillian Brasher (Naples, FL), sister Tammy (Bobby) Wade (Gallatin, TN). Five grandchildren, also known as the “J Crew,” Jace and Jolene (Derby, CT), Julian, Jocelyn, and Jett (Wesley Chapel, FL). Nephews Preston (Morgan Chase) Wade (Nashville, TN), Channing (Peyton) Wade, (Hendersonville, TN), Rodger Jerry Brasher Jr. (Naples, FL), and countless aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
