Obituary for Roger F Webb


Roger “Rod” F. Webb, was born on December 2nd, 1939 in Rochester, New York and passed away on Father’s Day June 19th 2022.

He relocated at a young age with his parents and sister to Cleveland, Ohio and was then a lifelong resident of Tempe, Arizona. He’s pre-deceased by his parents Grace and Paul Webb of Cleveland, Ohio (nee Gianforti) Wife, Avis Whalley (nee Rubenstein) of Mentor, Ohio and their son Roger Webb of Arizona.

He is survived by his his loving daughter’s Paula Webb of Mentor, Ohio and Laurie Allmenger of Bonita Springs, Florida, dear sister Paula Hughes and his nephew Nicholas Webb of Rochester, New York. Wife, Charlene Webb of Chandler, Arizona and her loving children Scott, Kelly, Kim and Terri, loving care-giver Coleen Galbraith of Florida.

He graduated from Wickliffe High School in Wickliffe, Ohio and continued his automotive education and became a service manager for 110 technicians at Brown and Brown Chevrolet of Arizona.

He was involved in many activities such as building and flying model airplanes and racing cars. He was president of the Saguaro Water Ski Club, a champion water skier, and he taught paraplegic’s to waterski. He was a motorcyclist and he had a love for music and played bass guitar in a band called Now and Then with Bob and Pam Allen. He also had a great love for Arizona.

Rod loved his family and friends and everyone loved him. He was a spiritual man involved in church activities and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

A private service and celebration honoring Rod’s life will follow at a later date to be announced.
