Obituary for Roxanne J. Beahan

Roxanne J Beahan 63, died June 4th with her family by her side in Estero, Fl. She was born October 15th, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois to Bob and Pat Crow. She attended Elk Grove High School where she met her high school sweetheart George Beahan. They were married on March 11th, 1978. Roxanne attended Harper College in Palatine, Illinois graduating with an associate's degree in early childhood education. She managed a daycare facility in Schaumburg Illinois and later taught special needs children at Howard B Thomas elementary school in Burlington, Illinois. An avid pet lover, Roxanne started her own pet sitting service after moving to Bonita Springs.

She loved traveling, scrapbooking and cake decorating. Roxanne filled her home with beauty especially during the holidays. At Christmas every room would have its own tree including her favorite which was adorned with dozens of teddies. She loved the Lord and wanted to display it publicly so even though her body had been weakened by years of battling cancer she courageously waded into the Gulf of Mexico to be baptized. She was selflessly devoted to her family and brought much love and joy to their lives. Roxanne is survived by her husband of 43 years George, her son Jeremy and his wife Jennifer, her daughter Rachel, her sister Roberta and brother-in-law Matt and their daughter Samantha.

Friends and family are invited to a memorial service honoring Roxanne’s life on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 1pm at Integrity Church at 10421 Pennsylvania Ave, Bonita Springs, FL 34135. For friends and family unable to attend, the memorial service will be recorded and a second memorial service will be held in Illinois at a later date.
