Obituary for Steven Wayne "Steve" Martin
After a long and fulfilled life, Steven Wayne Martin has left this world on September 22, 2022, at the age of 71.
Born to Wayne Eugene Martin & Patricia Ann Isabella on July 10th 1951, in the small town of Shell Lake, WI, he lived most of his life out in Spooner, WI, where he graduated in 1969. He owned multiple businesses in Spooner and Hayward. Steve was an avid car lover, at one time owning more cars than days in a week. Many times you could find him outside washing his cars for hours on end, detailing them till they shined like new.
After traveling to Florida in the early 90s, he continued his entrepreneurship spirit owning other business and spending over two decades managing the finances of healthcare management systems. In his spare time, he enjoyed being on the water and taking in the sun. He met his husband in 2005, and they then had two children together for whom he loved dearly and immensely. Steve was a family man that cherished his time with them visiting theme parks, traveling, and staying at home.
He is survived by his husband Paul, daughter Mya, son Peter, sister Barbara White (Steven), niece Jennifer Christner (Matt), niece Kari Christner (Carl), and nephew Robert White. Steve also deeply cherished Paul’s siblings Dounmala Komphonphakdy (Erik Daoheuang), Phetphouva Komphonphakdy, Kevin Komphonphakdy, Anousone Komphonphakdy, and Phanmaha Komphonphakdy. His love extended to the long extensive family of many nieces and nephews; Brandy Patty (Avion), Tina Santana (Victor), Tracy Komphonphakdy, Ricky Komphonphakdy, Jake Luangamath, Bryan Daoheuang, Tony Daoheuang, and Owen Komphonphakdy.
