Obituary for Waldo Carl Zehnder

Waldo Carl Zehnder, 91, of Bonita Springs, Florida, passed away on October 12th, 2022, at his home in Bonita Springs.

A memorial service will be held at Hope Lutheran Church on November 12th, 2022, at 1:00 PM, with Reverend Pastor Richard Browning of Hope Lutheran Church officiating. Cremation has taken place at Legacy Options in Bonita Springs.

Waldo was born in Frenkenmuth, Michigan, to Emma & Elmer Zehnder on July 31st, 1931. He went to highschool at Arthur Hill Highschool in Saginaw, Michigan, and graduated in 1949. He worked as an Automotive Manager for Baker Sales & Service for 25 years. He enjoyed fishing, playing Euchre, and reading.

Waldo is survived by his wife of 40 years, Patricia L. Zehnder. He is also survived by his sister, Marie Zehnder, his brother, Martin (Norma) Zehnder, his sons, Johnathan (Kathy) Zehnder, Jeremy (Shelly) Zehnder, and his stepchildren, Tricia J. Pallak (George Iead), and David O. Bernard. Waldo is also survived by special friends, Charlie Bohley and Tom Rigden, and by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Emma and Elmer Zehnder, his sister, Millie Kern, his son, Julian Zehnder, and daughter-in-law, Jane Zehnder.
