Obituary for William C "Bill" Rank
William (Bill) C. Rank, age 95, left this world to meet our Lord and died peacefully on March 3rd, 2023 at Avow Hospice, Naples, Florida. He is preceded in death by his son, David Rank and his brother, Clarence Rank and his daughter's husband, William Lincoln. He is survived by his wife, Jewel Rank and his sister, Lois Bouchard (and husband-Don) his two daughters, Connie Lincoln and Linda Tipperreiter (and husband Bill).
He is also survived by his grandsons Cotton and Tristan Lincoln and his granddaughters, Amanda Tipperreiter -Spencer, Melissa, Deanna, and Olivia Tipperreiter and great grandchildren Bella and Aerowyn Lincoln, Madison Spencer and Bryce Tipperreiter , Timothy McCammond, Oliver McCammond and Greyson Gajardo.
Bill was in the transportation industry for 30 years in Railroad Sales and Management. Although he lived in Chicago for 18 years he was born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin to Georgiana and Charles Rank and raised in Green Bay. He met and married his wife of 67 years in Green Bay. He was an avid Packer fan. Prior to working in the transportation industry, he served our country for two years in WWII in the U.S. Army medic corps, stationed in Italy. He attended St. Ann's church for 34 years and also served as an usher, a eucharistic minister and counseled couples planning on marriage. He donated to the Red Cross Blood Bank consistently and volunteered as a shuttle driver for NCH Hospital, enriching the lives of many visitors and patients. He enjoyed tennis, golf, bowling and traveling.
